Driving Experience

For some people driving is a thing that is taught at age fifteen. Not for me. I always knew how to drive. Maybe not a car right away but slowely I reached that point. The first thing I learned how to drive was a lawn mower. Probably at the age five sitting on daddy's lap, but that's beside the point. Eventually you reach the point where you can drive it on your own and you think that is the coolest thing ever! That was not the case for me. I always just looked forward to taking that next step and trying to drive something bigger and better. Lucky for me, I was raised in a family where we had many options. The next option was the tractor and the four wheeler.  Helping out my grandpa was my favorite thing to do whenever I was younger and the main thing I would do was drive the tractor around digging holes or hauling hay on the four wheeler. Being out at the farm all the time it helped out that I knew how to drive, but eventually I had to step up and drive the big truck. My grandpa thought it was the best thing ever seeing a thirteen year old girl attempting to drive a stick shift on a truck where I couldn't even see over the tires. He must have been impressed after a couple attempts because for my sixteenth birthday he bought me a truck, and ofcoarse it was a stick shift! Its alright though because I loved driving it and still to this day I would chose a stick shift truck over any other vehicle.
